Living Well with Chronic Illness
Do you, or someone you are caring for, have a chronic illness? Chronic illness is a condition that lasts a year or longer, limits activity, and may require ongoing care.
Examples include: diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, depression, heart disease, chronic pain, anxiety, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s.
Come join our proven LIVING WELL WORKSHOP! Developed by Stanford University, this FREE 6-week course will give you support, help with finding practical ways to deal with pain and fatigue, information on better nutrition choices and techniques on improving communication with your doctor and family about your health.
Classes are 2 and 1/2 hours and are led by trained volunteers who help you set your own goals. Classes are fun & interactive!
